• Youth Expedition Project - Goes Online is a 20-hour student-led project with an overseas beneficiary.

• Worked with 12 out-of-school youth from Mandaue, Cebu, Phillippines. 

• The programme included cultural exchange, digital literacy, environmental sustainability, mental health management, interest finding and job-seeking skills.

• Co-ordinated the team in the preparation and execution of the online programme (on Zoom).

JAN 2018 - AUG 2018
 

• Project Apricity aimed to empower victims of domestic abuse through raising funds for Maintenance Support Central and the Star Shelter.
  Led the Sales Committee.

  • Manage the economic aspects of Street Sales (June 2018) and Concert Accendo (August 2018), as well as the online merchandise sales throughout the course of the project.

• Served as a stage wing leader in the Backstage Crew for Concert Accendo.

JAN 2018 - NOV 2020
 

• Regular volunteer tutor at Lengkee Community Centre.

• Tutors under-privileged children on weekday nights, creating a safe space for the children living in rental flats in the area to study and get academic help.

• Taught:

  • Primary School: English, Mathematics, Science and Mandarin.

  • Secondary School: English, Mathematics and Humanities (History, Literature).

• Served as an older sister figure or mentor to my students.

• Representative of the 1st Company (Methodist Girls' School).

• Dedicated my entire Saturday to rehearsing for NDP 2017.
